Ministers discussed infrastructure and regional development

The FBD 2018 on May 28-29 in Malmö was a success. More than 700 visitors and a significant media coverage with more than 90 articles in all three countries, ie Germany, Denmark and Sweden, have been published.

A unique accomplishment was the gathering of the countries’ infrastructure ministers and the infrastructure coordinator of EU on stage at the same time for a discussion on infrastructure and regional development. It turned out to be a dynamic session, with sincere exchange between the panelists and sharp questions posed by the audience.

Meet Saga Norén from “The Bridge” at the Fehmarnbelt Days

Sofia Helin, who plays the lead role as Saga Norén in the successful TV serie “The Bridge”, has helped put the Øresund Bridge on the map. She will share her personal experience of working across borders at the Fehmarnbelt Days in Malmö.

“The Bridge” is a Danish-Swedish co-production where the Øresund Bridge and cross-border cooperation and culture play an important role. “The Bridge” is a symbol of the transnational, of fascination of infrastructure, “to build bridges” – and working together. And the series is a great hit in both Denmark, Sweden and Germany. The show is an example of something special that occurs when two different cultures meet – both behind and in front of the camera. Something special is clearly emerging: We are seeing a boost of media co-productions between the three countries.

At the Fehmarnbelt Days, Sofia Helin will talk about her own experiences with cross-border work. Both with the Fehmarn Tunnel between Germany and Denmark and across the Øresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden, there are new artistic opportunities – and challenges.

Accordingly, this is the perfect opportunity to obtain the attention of people from different sectors and a varying background.

Right from the beginn at the first joint conference day of the FBD Organizers, The FBD Exhibitors use the forum of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2018 at Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live in Malmö to present their projects, businesses, initiatives or networks at the Networking Village. Thereby, they will address stakeholders and decision-makers from politics, science and business as well as the interested public.

Taking place for the fourth time, after 2012 in Hamburg/Lübeck, 2014 in Copenhagen and 2016 in Hamburg again, the Fehmarnbelt Days provide a now established cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary platform. Stakeholders from the emerging Fehmarnbelt Region and beyond have a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences as well as to discuss key issues and cross-border collaborations. The two-day event aims at connecting diverse themes from business, science and society.
It is an excellent opportunity to present yourself as a sponsor.
