You will make the difference

We are happy to announce that the Fehmarnbelt Days 2020 will take place again. Nine organizers have agreed to prepare the Fehmarnbelt Days 2020 in the County of Ostholstein in Schleswig-Holstein/Germany in the region close to the Fehmarnbelt.

On Sunday, 17 May 2020, you and I will meet at the “Bürger-Festival” to have fun, to learn, to get information and inspiration about our region and the entire Fehmarnbelt Region. But it will also be about participation in different workshops, activities, panels and interactions. Be brave and join in! It is your chance to shape our common future and to demonstrate that together we could reach even more.

On Monday, 18 May 2020, professionals from business, administration, science, politics and NGOs will meet at the Fehmarnbelt Days conference. This event should have the profile of future-orientation and the spirit of new thinking. We are all keen to learn about the new impulses to create attractive transition processes.

We hope to see you there!

What are the Fehmarnbelt Days?

A forum for interested parties, an open platform – ready for your suggestions!

For two days in 2020, the Fehmarnbelt Days will provide again a broad platform for stakeholders (including the interested public) from all over the emerging Fehmarnbelt Region and beyond to exchange ideas and experiences, to discuss key issues and further cross-border collaboration. We want to develop growth potential for the Fehmarnbelt Region – seize the opportunities and understand possible obstacles. It is all about participation and joint action.

Since 2012 the Fehmarnbelt Days have dealt with key areas such as infrastructure, tourism, business, the labour market, transport and logistics as well as education and research. The Fehmarnbelt Days 2020 will also host and be accompanied by a variety of social and cultural events.

Don’t miss the bi-annual cross-sectoral meeting for all activities in the corridor between S-Sweden and N-Germany and beyond.

Partners of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2020

The organisers of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2020 offer again for the third time the unique opportunity for private companies, organisations, networks or projects to become partners of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2020.

Activity Partners

The so-called “FBD Activity Partners” use the Fehmarnbelt Days to pursue their own activities within the context of the joint FBD forum. This results in an enhanced visibility of their specific activity and extends the sphere of influence beyond the usual target group. Accordingly, this is the perfect opportunity to obtain the attention of people from different sectors and a varying background. The main presentation will be most likely at the “Bürger-Festival” on Sunday, 17 May 2020.

Exhibitors

The FBD Exhibitors use the forum of the Fehmarnbelt Days 2020 to present their projects, businesses, initiatives or networks at the Networking Village. Thereby, they will address the wider public as well as stakeholders and decision-makers from politics, science and business as well as the interested public.

Supporting Sponsors

Taking place for the fifth time, after 2012 in Hamburg/Lübeck, 2014 in Copenhagen, 2016 in Hamburg and in Malmö 2018, the Fehmarnbelt Days provide a now established cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary platform. Stakeholders from the emerging Fehmarnbelt Region and beyond have a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences as well as to discuss key issues and cross-border collaborations. The two-day event aims at connecting diverse themes from business, science and society, this time with an strong aspect on participation and young people.
It is an excellent opportunity to present yourself as a sponsor.
