/ Looking at various economic, political, and social interlinkages, a successful regional development is inextricably linked with the neighbouring regions. This also applies to North Germany and particularly to the metropolitan area of Hamburg. In order to take full effect of the regional strengths and potentials, cross-border collaboration is of central importance to Northern Germany and Denmark. The cities of Hamburg, Copenhagen, and Aarhus are central nodes for the successful cross-border collaboration between the regions that even stretches as far as Oslo and Stockholm.

In order to use cross-border collaboration as an even more effective driver for successful regional development in the future, Ramboll will present its analysis of the most promising possibilities for further collaboration and areas of mutual growth potential. These findings will be discussed with the audience.
